today i am celebrating!

...for what God has done over the past 6 months! hunter is 6 months old today and is a happy and healthy baby! i am so thankful to the Lord for His blessing of our son. lately i have been thinking about the providence of God and how, in his divine loving kindness he brought hunter to us 2 1/2 weeks early! the cord was wrapped around his neck twice and if my water hadn't broke when it did, causing hunter to come early, we may have lost him. because he was early, he stuggled with nursing and i have had to pump. i am happy to be pumping because i would much rather be pumping than be without my baby boy.

which leads me to another reason to celebrate...i have made it 6 months!!! originally my goal was to pump for 6 months. in the beginning it seemed like a daunting task. it feels so great to know that i have made it this far, although i can't say i have done it without complaining (shame on me!). i am going to keep at it because formula is so so so expensive!

kelly and i have been praising God for His provision in our lives. the past 6 months have been a financial struggle as the doctor's bills piled up and car trouble was around practically every corner. we sold one vehicle (for $1 more than we paid for it - totally a God thing!), paid off all the debt, and are extremely thankful God is working to help us financially.

today i am celebrating and am praising God! Pin It
