vacation's over

we had such a wonderful trip! now back to the real world. but first, here are some highlights...

i love this place! bi-rite creamery was featured on the food network's show, "the best thing i ever ate." i am so serious - it was the best thing i EVER ate! i had a sundae made from scratch that included chocolate ice cream, salted caramel ice cream, whipped cream, hot fudge and brownie chunks. simply fabulous.

okay....and now on to something unbelievable. unfathomable. unthinkable. look at this:

drumroll please...

kelly and i were asked to sing at a wedding. the wedding is in venice, italy. (us???? can you believe it???? yes, i wonder if they really have the right people!) it is in less than one month. woweee! oh yeah, and the wedding will be in that castle. the airfare and hotel are all paid for. most of our meals will be paid for as well. umm, this is simply fantastic. it is a once-in-a-lifetime for sure!!! we are debating whether or not to take hunter. it would probably be best to go by ourselves, but the thought of being without him for awhile out of the country breaks my heart. thoughts? we are obviously thrilled!
