eat. sleep. jump.

hi everyone! it's hunter here and i just wanted to let you know that today is my 8 month birthday. mommy thought it would be fun to celebrate with a flu shot. i think she deserves a "mom of the year award" for that one. i have enjoyed living these past 8 months. i really enjoy the simple things.

i love to eat. still. mommy keeps saying that one day i am going to thin out. i like my figure...there's just more of me to love this way. i eat about 3 jars of baby food each day. my mom has the pantry stocked full of the "earth's best" kind (she says its the best) and they were on sale and she had coupons. i get the joy of being pulled into all of mommies coupon escapades. lucky me. anyways, since the pantry is so full, i thought that meant i would be able to get more jars each day. once in a while i flash an "oh-so-cute, to die for, couldn't possible say no" smile at my parents and then they let me have more.

i love to sleep. i take two naps a day and sleep 11-12 hours at night. i know that makes my mom happy. i love taking naps with her. she lets me do that probably way more than she should. yeah, i would say that i am spoiled.

i love to jump. i finally figured out how to do it. mommy sticks me in my jumperoo and tells me to " jump! burn some calories, work those thighs!" i don't know what all that even means. i just look at her, smile and jump some more. i am really good at it too.

after breakfast everyday, i get to watch my favorite thing - praise baby! what worship leader's son, wouldn't love watching praise baby??? i shake my arms to dance to the music. i also love to play our piano and my favorite toy is my guitar. daddy is already proud of me. this is what i look like when i watch praise baby. i get completely engrossed.

i also love to play with my dog, banjo. she is a bit smelly sometimes, but she is so fun to tug on. she likes to lick me...mommy can't stand it when that happens. i like to grab her tail. mommy and daddy always tell me not to grab her tail because it is close to something else. i just look at them and laugh. do they really think i know what they're talking about? i don't have a clue.

well, that is what i am up to. i am learning how to pull myself up on things. i also am figuring out the whole crawling thing. i still don't have it down quite yet, but i like to get into things and rolling everywhere isn't going to cut it. one of these days, i will surprise my mom and make it from one end of the room to the other by crawling. i am sure she will brag on me when it happens.
