until we can fully believe that the Lord is absolute goodness and has our absolute best in mind, we will never be able to fully obey Him...i must believe in the absolute goodness of God otherwise i will never win the battle of obedience. for some reason i haven't ever tied together obedience and God's goodness. i am certainly always interested in learning how to better obey the Lord and His Word! it was nourishment for my soul!

That is one of my all time favorite verses. In fact, our church printed that verse out on little cards and passed them out to the congregation months ago. I have one sitting right below my monitor. What a great reminder!
