a family has been in the process of adopting a gorgeous boy from haiti for the past 2 1/2 years. i would tell you their story, but they do a better job of telling it themselves. so, go read it.
can you imagine how heart-wrenching it must have been leaving your son behind in a land of sheer destruction with the imminent threat of food/water shortages and airborne diseases?!
oh, and go here to read/watch a video of their son being held by diane sawyer the other night as she visited and reported on the orphanage. caution: you might cry. i did.
sorry my posts have been heavy and serious lately. but, this is serious stuff. prayers are needed. pray for the Lord to move mountains so this boy can come home.
