a little paper...

plus a whole lot of fun = making your own invites.

started with this.

ended with these.
now i am pleased.

this is the design up close.

after much too much procrastination, i finally made them.
nothing fancy.
i used some scrapbook papers, tape, scissors and my favorite design program.
total out of pocket cost = $0.
i did have to buy a few stamps, though.
i used leftover envelopes from our extra christmas cards to mail them.

if you are a family member and you don't live near us,
i didn't send you one.
don't feel bad, i just figured i'd save a stamp.
we still love you.

oh yeah, and if you're our friend,
we didn't send you one either.
it's a family party.
it's cheaper that way.
sorry.

now on to making a party hat and a banner.
how fun.
i am so into making things.

are you crafty?
what do you like to make?
do tell...

Love it! Did you use publisher? I might have to invest in that. I want to make Carson and Claires bday invite cuz that is the worst part to spend money on bc it just gets thrown away! Still can't unzip my files...no clue why I don't have the extract option!

I love your design! You need to be out here, couldn't we have some fun. You know what I like to do. It is Knit and make Cards. In two weeks Cheryl is doing a card workshop at Bobbi Jo's house. You make 8 cards for $15.00. She provides all the necessary things and pre-cuts all the papers. I love it that way!

I like to make jewelry! It's so easy and so much fun. I get ideas from around in stores, magazines, or what I see others wearing, or sometimes come up with it myself. Then I change it to what I like or colors I want to go with something. THey are great gifts too - you save a LOT of money that way! There is relatively minimal start up cost, and the only thing you have to purchase are the beads, etc you want, but the good thing is you can use beads on more than one necklace/earrings. Sometimes I can make three sets out of purchases. All about saving some money!
