one year ago...

i became a mother, my husband and i became parents, our little boy was born healthy. it was a miracle. although i had to have an emergency c-section due to the cord being wrapped around his neck twice and head once, i wouldn't change it for one second. i'd rather have 1,000 c-sections than not have my baby boy. we rejoiced over our son's birth and are now rejoicing over his first year of life.

our lives have been filled with joy, we have loved every day and milestone of this past year...

i will take a 12 month picture today!

kelly reminds me that we only have 17 more of these years until our little boy becomes an adult. i told him he better quit saying that. i am pregnant, my hormones are wacko and i cry at the drop of a dime. i don't want to think about only having 17 more of these years.

last night, my mom brought over a bunch of birthday balloons. she wanted hunter to wake up to balloons on his 1st birthday morn. what a sweet grandma!

today we will celebrate by turning his car seat forward. i'm so thrilled for him to be able to finally stretch out his legs. i will love being able to turn around and see his adorably chubby face.

saturday is his family birthday party. i adore celebrating this little boy!
