things i've learned as of late.

1. since hunter has had a double ear infection, i've learned that double ear infection poop is the smelliest kind. i'm guessing we can thank the antibiotic for that.

2. i thought fevers went away quickly once you got on meds. evidently fevers don't go away quickly. yesterday was day five with a fever. good news, though... it has gone down drastically.

3. once your child turns one, they most likely will not suffocate if you let them sleep with a blanket. i caved last night and let hunter be covered by his favorite blankie. so yeah, my baby slept with a blanket and survived.

4. on a windy day, don't ever set your purse down in the car. the wind will blow your car door shut. you will be stranded in a parking lot. without your keys. without your phone. but hey, at least your kid wasn't in the car.

so many learnings in just seven days. what have you learned as of late? teach me something.

Sorry you locked your keys in the car! It is good news that Hunter wasn't inside.

I've learned that while you do the dishes..you might hear your daughter crunching away eating goldfish..but she's really crunching them all over the foyer floor. :) oh well..i was about to sweep it anyways!

This reminded me of the time I actually did lock Sophia in the car. It was a traumatic experience (more so for me). Luckily my car now has a key-pad on the door so I can't lock myself out or anyone in, lol!

Recently I've learned that my house will always be messy but it's okay. I'm sure one day I'll miss that mess very much.

hehe, love it! I mean, it's funny, but it's not ;-)

I've recently learned that even though the fever goes away, they still may not be up for a good time. Emma did not heart gymnastics this morning. As a matter of fact, she pretty much screamed through the whole thing. My bad :-(

Glad Hunter's fever is gone! I have heard ear infection diapies are the smelliest!

I just laughed right out loud about letting your child sleep with a blanket at age 1! I was totally the same way, and actually I think Kelcee was like a little over 1 before I covered her with her fav blankie and she survived! Glad I'm not alone on this one....

Yikes thanks for the reminder on the purse wind thing....I have been scared that will happen to me, hasn't yet....but ya never know LOL

I've learned that spending time with my husband is more important than making sure the coffee table is clean :)
I love to be clean...

I learned this week that toddlers who wait until they are 13 months old to finally get their top teeth have an extremely cranky go of things. Hoorah for us, but I so wish this woulda happened 6 months ago! You have a new follower, btw!

Poor you... Those are not funny things to learn. I locked myself outside the car with all my keys and phone inside on a really cold winter day in MI. Luckily there was a gas station close by our house and they let me call Paulo who worked 10 min away from home.

Hoping your little boy feels better soon! It's so tough when our little ones are sick and ear infections are awful. Mollie has had one every month for the past 6, we are looking at tubes it seems!

Have you heard the story of when you were locked in the car in front of your Grandma's house? You were hungry and your Mom was hurrying to get home to feed you when she put you in the car and locked the door. You cried for 20 minute or so before the AAA came to unlock the car door. We all felt so sad for youwe could have cried too.

The rental car that I was driving locked both of the kids in the car..... along with my purse and phone. It's a good thing that Dallas is almost 6 so that she was able to unlock the door. :) It happens to the best of us... and I feel ya one the ear infection poo, my little Hunter has an ear infection also! Just plain nasty stuff.
