so, think middle of the night. 4 am. and then it happened. my water broke. my immediate thought:, hmmm, am i peeing myself? but since my water has broken before i knew what was happening. my next thought: wait, the crib isn't up, nothing (i mean nothing) has been accomplished in the nursery. it can't be time yet. i was supposed to have 9 weeks left. besides, i don't have any clothes washed for her. no hospital outfit picked out. we get ready to go to the hospital. my bags aren't packed... i don't even know where a bag is that i could use to pack. what do we do with hunter? the dog? we figured out everything as we were half asleep, half scared, half nervous, half excited, and made our way to the labor and delivery floor. good thing, though, that today is april 1st. : ) i guess the nursery will get done after all. (it will be really funny to see how many people make it to the end of this paragraph... hmmm... i'm sure i'll get a few congratulations! he he!)
