{1} something amazing happened this weekend... i got a gigantic burst of energy and all my pregnancy pains along with my super high blood pressure went away. it was spectacular. miraculous, really. especially since kelly and i had our last shebang (i.e. - date) before sage arrives. we went to coast in downtown charleston and used a gift card. coast was extremely tasty and the atmosphere was laid back and coastal. loved it. if i could design a restaurant, it'd look just like coast:
yummmmmmm.... i could eat food like this every. single. day.
{2} i'm obsessed with blog design. i fell hard for html and then crashed and burned. but that's because i'm content with my new design for now. if you're feeling discontent with your blog, i have some sweet news for you. my blog friend, hannah, just started, vivid design studio. my real life friend, sarah, just started bon blog designs. they are both oh so very talented. take a peek:
{3} meet my niece, gracie. isn't she the sweetest thing?! gracie was in town with her sister and her mama (my sister-in-law) so i had to get my kisses while i could!
{4} after asking if my hiney looked bigger, kelly lovingly told me that i now have some junk in my trunk. ooohhh the sweet benefits of being pregnant.
{5} drumroll, pleaseeeee.... hunter is almost walking. he walks here and there often but still reverts to crawling. soon, though, he is going to decide that he's too good for crawling. he turned 15 mos yesterday... it's about time.
{6} as far as linking up to miscellany monday... i'll keep you posted... maybe next week.

What a fun date night! That food looks delish :)
How sweet your niece is!! I love baby kisses!!
Emma started walking at 11 months and I don't think she stopped ever since! It's so exciting when they first try and take those steps, but wow is it exhausting!
Coast looks yummy. Lobster looks amazing. If you can squeeze in another date before Sage's arrival, you soo should! Congrats on the badunkadunk! LOL.
Good morning! Glad y'all got some time for a date before the insanity, umm... I mean fun... begins... =) And excited to check out your friends blog design stuff- mine is in desperate need of something new! Have a great day!

What a great name for a restaurant. So glad you were able to get out and enjoy yourself. And put some more junk in your little trunk:)
Coast looks super yummy...and I don't like seafood, so that's saying a lot. And I love how it's designed; if that's your style, then it's super cute.
And thanks for mentioning me! That means sooooo much. :-)
That picture of you and Gracie is so sweet. I love your big grin as she smacks your face off. As you would say...Too presh.
And YEAH for Hunter almost walking! He can do it! Keep us updated! :-)
Yeah for Miscellany Monday!

I knew Hunter would come around soon enough! Christian is crawling/scooting now and he heads for every lamp cord possible! geez.
That restaurant looks delish! My hubby hates seafood so we rarely go anywhere that is truly dedicated just to seafood. I miss it!
Have a great week!
Heather

You're lucky that you only have JUNK in the trunk during your pregnancy. I have that JUNK hangin' around every day of my life. :)
So glad you had a great weekend. Love the kisses picture :)
Blessings,
Amy
Hitting up the coast the next time I am in the area....your niece is very squeezable! Have a great day! I have fun creating my own blog, even though I know there is room for improvement I will learn as I go, that is what I love about this blog land, so much to be learned!
Yay for Hunter almost walking! You won't be able to keep up with him once he really takes off! I really need a new blog design, but I want to try it myself. I love how wide yours is, but I have no idea how to make mine like it:) Maybe I just need to break down and pay someone to do it for me!
That's so sweet that he is almost walking! The sea food place looks amazing and I am always up for some good, fresh lobster!
So nice to hear that you are feeling good and your little niece is adorable!
Kisses and Happy Monday!

Awesome weekend! She's a cutie you niece! Congrats on the "almost" walking! It's so exciting! But now you need to be ready to run cause that is what they do. If you think him getting into things now is a lot, when they walk they feel like they got CRAZY freedom. It's fun!!

Unfortunately, we won't be eating seafood for a while here along the Gulf Coast because of the devastation from the oil spill. Happy Monday!

That food looks amazing, and your niece is too cute!
what a great weekend!!
andi want to eat the contents of that plate!
sounds like a fab weekend! my kids all walked after a year old. dustin was almost 17 months. it's sort of nice. :) because once they start walking, it gets a bit crazier, BUT it's much nicer to have them walking before a new baby comes. caitlyn was only 13 months old when dustin was born, and NOT walking yet, so it was like having two babies. well they pretty much were, but you know!
Your hug is precious! I just love it! I want a hair picture... And your bum, maybe it's just wiiiiiiiiiiiider??
Glad to hear you are doing better. Isn't it amazing what God can do?!
Cait, from theblessedlife, is my "real life" friend and she told me about you blog. I started reading it and love it! You have a sweet baby boy and I'm sure your little girl will be just as sweet! Stay strong and remember God will always take care of you and your family!
I didn't know that Sarah was your real life friend! How fun! I love her blog, too : )
Praise the Lord that your complications have gone away!!
I love Charleston! I have been there once...probably like 8 years ago and would LOVE to go back! I am so glad you got to have a great last date. :)
awe. baby kisses. they are just as sweet as puppy kisses! that restaurant looks amazing. i'm a big fan of seafood. {probably the hardest meat to give up} thanks so much for the blog designs! i love yours.
p.s. thanks for the tip on putting my purple not black polish on my toes! i recently changed my hot pink to that. and i LOVE it.
Dinner looked yummy! Glad you got a nice night out!
That restaurant looks amazing...and that bambino...she is SO cute and looks like she gives awfully sweet kisses!
What an adorable aunt/niece pic!
so glad to hear you got a fabulous date with your hubby!! I'll have to check out those design sites! and YAY for almost walking!! that means short for almost being able to get into everything! hahaha :)
have a lovely day!
xoxo,
Bonnie
Sounds like you had a great weekend ;0)
Sarah just designed mine and I LOVE it! She did such a great job. What a sweet photo. I'm doing my first giveaway this week so you'll have take a peek over. It's a bit different then normal giveaways. kind of having with this. :)

Coast sounds like my kind of place; the picture of the food is mouthwatering! I really want to visit that whole coastal area SOON.
Adorable niece! And yes I will be hitting up your friends for coem blog help, getting to that point:-)
Gracie is an adorable name for an adorable little girl! & go Hunter! (re: the walking) It is exciting, but tiring for parents... especially pregnant ones. :)
Glad you got a burst of energy! That seafood looks amazing! Yum!
Sweet pic of you and Gracie! You know you are just a few days late with this post, right? I have been so addicted with searching through papers, etc. and looking for someone to design my blog for almost 2 weeks! I finally found her and she will start the process soon. I will let you know when I get it up and going so that you can come take a look. :-)
Praying for you and sweet Sage~
what a sweet photo of you and your niece! :)
Yum!! Coast looks amazing. I love going to places like that!! And your niece is adorable!!
Awe you are getting so much closer to the babe's arrival! I am excited for you. Glad to hear you are feeling spectacular my friend :) xx
Sounds like y'all had a great date night. That place looks awesome. Gracie is too cute! Don't worry Hunter will be running around soon enough and then you'll wish he had never learned how to walk! Plus chasing him around will be a perfect way to get rid of the junk in your trunk! Ha!
Happy Monday Carissa! So glad you got a great date night before baby arrives! Have I told you how much I like the name Sage? Ok, I think that comment qualifies as my Misc. Monday! :-)
YEAH for the walking boy! It only gets faster from here!!! Really in like a week he will be walking most of the time! T still crawls to pull up if he falls and is slowly starting to go to standing from crawling on his own. But the boy is speedy...Hunter will be that way in no time! I'm so excited for him (YOU!!!)
Sweet picture, you look so happy!
Hey Carissa!
I got your comment on my blog, and I'm here to explain to you what Sherwood is. Of course, if you've already followed the links on my blog, then I guess this comment is a waste, but I have to tell you anyway. :-)
So.... Sherwood is a church in Albany, Georgia. They are currently in the process of making their fourth film ("Courageous"). They've made three other movies - "Flywheel", "Facing the Giants", and "Fireproof." Let me tell ya, if you haven't seen any of those, you REALLY should. They're fabulous Christian movies... I'm sure you would just love them!
Here's the link to the Sherwood Pictures website, in case you're interested:

HAHAHA... I'm just thinking how my post probably made no sense at all to you. Maybe after you check the sites out, you can actually understand what I was talking about. :D
Okie-dokie.... I guess I've said enough. And YES... of course we can still be friends! ;-)
~ Love,
Lindsay
I luv your miscellany monday posts! You have to post pics of Hunter's first steps!! And you are one amazing momma. I seriously don't know how you manage being the sweetest person in blogland : )
Too fun...love the restaurant and the sweet niece, what a great post!!! You're just a doll!!!!
nothing wrong with a little junk in the trunk!! thats whats so great about being pregnant! noone can blame you for it! hahah.
your niece is so absolutely completely adorable!! and congrats to hunter for almost walking!!! how precious!!
p.s. i've always meant to tell you that your blog design is killer! i love it!!
The good news is that "they" say crawling helps you become a good reader.. although my second started walking in her 9th month and she learned to read at 4. Hooked on Phonics werked fer her! She couldn't stand it that her sister was learning to read without her! Same with riding a bike, she was 3 and wouldn't give up. The same month she did that we moved to a house with a pool and we had a 5 foot fence put around it so she wouldn't get in there ... to my horror she scaled it.. oy. What was I saying? Oh, Hunter boy... you'll miss the crawling.. like when you're running after him. Even though you'll love the walking too. Like, "go get mommy a diaper for your sister" Ha.
Have fun!
so happy the pregnancy pains left you in time for a weekend date! that restaurant looks INCREDIBLE. my mouth is actually watering!
p.s. can't wait to check out your friends' design sites — thanks for the links!
Thanks for the blog referrals. I will check them both out. I get bored with my design easily. :)
