one. chocolate chip cheesecake... my father's day present to my handsome hubby who celebrated his 2nd father's day this year... it's highly caloric and scrumptious all at once. by the way, cheesecake batter is my fave. plus, the calories don't count until it's all cooked; lucky me. good thing i only make this for his birthday and now father's day. i must share this recipe soon.
two. there's an announcement sign when you enter our neighborhood that reminds the residents of upcoming things. i noticed it said: "july 4th is coming soon - 07/04/10." really? even my sleepy, fatigued brain knows that july 4th is celebrated on, well, july 4th.
three. my absolutely adorable reason for being so sleepy:
four. my sweet baby boy and his dog. they are buddies. and conveniently entertain each other for hours.
five. don't you dare steal my unwatermarked photos. i don't have the energy to add the watermark... you know the whole 2 seconds that it takes. ; ) by the way, the new preview feature in blogger is fantastic.
six. life has been an adventure these past two weeks. my 16 month old is nonstop energy and my newborn gal is as sweet as ever but especially loves to nurse every hour. it seems that these kiddies are always hungry, have poopies and cry at the very same moment. i'm in charge of this beautiful chaos everyday at the graham household and i'm enjoying it.

Yum! Your cheesecake looks and sounds amazing. Please share when you get the time (ha ha!).
The 4th of July thing is so funny to me. My personal favorite is when American friends find it hard to believe that other countries don't celebrate uniquely American holidays like the Fourth or Thanksgiving. Duh. :)
A boy and his dog - absolutely precious!
Hope you're enjoying every sleep-deprived second! It's pure goodness and goes way too quickly. Have a blessed week ahead!
That cheesecake looks amazing! Your children are so adorable! I hope you've been able to get some rest. :) Happy Monday!

I won't steal your photos but they all look sweet enough to want too!!!
I don't know why I didn't realize your two are so close in age! The comment about Father's Day made me stop and think. Wow--you are one busy mommy with two beautiful children! (and he is a busy daddy too, of course!) So cute that Hunter and the dog get along. Our two dogs tolerate Kaylee--the mom/girl dog better--but they are still not too keen on when she goes to give them hugs. hehe
oh my, hunter and banjo are so cute in those pics!!! you should enter it into some contest, if there is one. lol
You are one amazing young lady Carissa! Always enjoy your gorgeous photos and I do hope that you have your blog professionally printed each year so that your children will have it in book form. I'm sure you already know about www.blog2print.com The do absolutely fantastic work! Blessings for a great week!
Awe! I love those photos of Miss Sage and Hunter. He is just precious with his doggy! Me and my sister are 17 months apart. I am sure it was super tough on my mom when we were young too but growing up she was and is my best fraaan!! I'm sure your sweet kiddos will be too!
First and foremost, the pictures of the kids are adorable! Second, YUM! Yes, you need to share that recipe. I hope you have a great week! BLESSINGS!
We WILL be waiting for that cheese cake recipe! I'll get Chloe to make it for me...cooking is not my forte. Besides, pretty much whatever she makes tastes good. :-)
The thing I don't get is that the sign says "July 4th" and THEN proceeds to tell the date. ? Somethings a little off there.
Your little keeper-upper is so cute. Her little face is just so precious--makes me want to come over and hold her. We haven't had a little girl for so long, so I miss that little girlyness. Beautiful darling.
Meep. Hunter and that dog are darling. Sosososososososo cute. I love how they're just cuddling up. I'm not a big animal person, but seeing that, it's uber cute.
We won't steal your photos, hun! Although, you could probably license the cheescake one on getty... You get some rest! Sounds like your life is beautifully big right now--life to the fullest with all the nooks and crannies. :-)
Much love to the Graham Fam!

Why is it that I comment here, go to my blog and say that I am linking up and then forget to? My brain is just over 40!
I LOVE CHEESECAKE!!! It really is my favorite thing in the whole world. May be a slight exaggeration. :) Can you believe we don't have a Cheesecake Factory in Wichita? you must (in all your spare time) check out Windows live writer... or are you a Mac girl? you and use all sorts of great fonts, and add watermarks automatically. It is a great blog editor and then publishes right to Blogger for you. I hated the blogger editor and have never gone back since finding WLR.
Love the pictures! Your family is soooo sweet~ and you definitely should NOT post that recipe or I will be forced to make it and eat it All!! ;)
i love cheesecake!!!
and ummm. july 4th is on the 4th this year? crazy.
dear carissa,
i cannot imagine HOW you find time to blog with
those sweet babies . . . and a homemade cheese
cake, too!
you are wonder woman.
now that all my kids are home, i have not found
a moment to blog. . . but i don't really mind. :)
i lost your address and have a gift for you. sorry
to trouble you again. :(
She is just the most precious little thing ever!!!
enjoy your wonderful chaos!
Hi, I really enjoy your blog. But I just figured something out. Your babies names are both shades of green. But wait that's not all. They are named sort of after your hubby's name, which is also a shade of green. Of course you already know this, but I just realized it! What a great idea! So unique!
what a beautiful post
thank you for sharing..
and i LOVED the pics
Love the new pictures of Sage! She is already growing so fast! YIKES!... but BEAUTIFUL!!! And Hunter's hair is growing.. he looks more grown up too. Really have to catch up with you soon. Love you!
