(1) bursting bubbles.
it's quite fascinating what more than one child will do to you. every single day i manage to burst every single square foot of the germ bubble i worked hard to build around hunter for the last year and a half. sage didn't even get the privilege of having a bubble. shhh... don't tell her. she'll never know. a little dirt won't hurt.
(2) i'm a fan of fans.
oscillating ones are even better. and believe you me, when your ac breaks for the second time in the past four months and you live in the hot and humid south they become your dear friend. (rachel, can you believe it?! it must be contagious.) so, after three days of living in a hot house, i'm trying not to be too cranky. keyword: trying. i'm one hot mama.
(3) sage's dedication.
yesterday morning at church we dedicated sage to the Lord. it was a sweet reminder, statement, and declaration that she belongs to the Lord. we are here to nurture, train, protect, love and cherish her, but ultimately she is the Lord's and He can do all those things better than we can. the cool thing is that our bff's dedicated their little handsome, jude, on the very same day. yes, jude and sage's marriage will be arranged. (notice my awesome ability to hold my baby awkwardly in every picture.)

(4) shopping cart stumble.
after waiting almost three weeks for sage's baby announcements to arrive from the kodak gallery i realized i needed to do some investigating to find out what was taking so long. my investigation led to the ever pressing reality that i've lost a gigantic amount of brain cells... it's always funny and mostly annoying when i get tangible reminders of that reality. it turns out that i never even ordered them. they were still in my online shopping cart. maybe i'll get them mailed by the time her 1st birthday rolls around and then they can double as a party invite. and then i'll brag about my superb multi-tasking skills.

I visited her shop and it's super! I really liked a necklace she called vintage romance. Her things are pretty and her prices are really reasonable. If I won, I would choose the necklace.
Thanks for hosting another Miscellany Monday. It is quickly becoming a favorite of mine! Blessings:)
Seems to be a great site with all love related stuff..thanks for sharing!
Love Letters
How special that you were able to dedicate the babies together. I love that! I can totally relate to the 'shopping cart stumble'. You are so creative with the titles of your miscellany comments. They always make me smile!
I love miscellany monday - it gives me something fun to do first thing Monday morning when I'd rather be sleeping :)
Have a great week enjoying those precious gifts from the Lord!
Her shop is so pretty and I love both..I cant choose...:)
Count me in,please:)
I adore your family photos...sage and hunter are so cute...Your dress is so pretty.
Wish you a great Monday and fingers crossed for the giveaway:)
Kisses

Her pieces are amazing! And I am in love with that necklace, so count me in!
Gorgeous family carissa, absolutely beautiful!
I'd love to win the earrings! I love her shop - definitely added to my favorites list on Etsy.
I'd love to win the necklace! It's beautiful.
I'd love to win the necklace. I have purchased one of her necklaces already!
So funny about the birth announcements! your little girl is getting so big already.
So don't feel guilty about the birth announcements...we never did any for Christian! I guess we figured everyone knew he was here...haha-maybe I'm the bad mama!
The germ bubble? I think I might have already busted Christian's. Now when it comes to sick people/babies I still am very funny about him being around them...but dirt? Dirt doesn't hurt:-)
Great giveaway! Count me in for the necklace! Have a great week!
Heather
So good to hear that you young folks can forget things too. :o) I imagine it's called "brain overload" not forgetfulness. Thanks for sharing pictures of Sage's Dedication. What a special time for you and your husband as her parents. Blessings for a wonderful week!
How cute are those earrings and necklace?! She has really great things!
I've done the whole online shopping cart thing before!! I will order clothes, or at least think I ordered them, and then wonder where my package is 2 weeks later. It's terrible what children will do to our brains! I hope you get your ac fixed soon! I'm sure that doesn't help you think clearly at all!
Love the sweet pictures of Sage's dedication. You have one beautiful family!
Those earrings are awesome!
I'm not a "germaphobe" at all... and yes, 2nd children don't have the luxury of a bubble. Imagine how my 3rd child feels, ha ha! I think my middle wiped his nose on his little sis's onesie like the day she came home from the hospital or something crazy like that.
BTW, I love this blog, and I'm your newest follower. :)
Your photos of the dedication are darling.
And I love the necklace you're giving away!
Ya'll look so cute as your family of four! You're looking great, girl. LOVE steph's jewelry. I have several of her pieces, and I l.o.v.e 'em! The necklace is my fave!
Great Miscellany, as usual, Carissa!
What pretty jewelry!! If I won, I would have to go with the earrings. Very pretty!
-Sarah
You have such a beautiful family! Happy Monday!
Id love the necklace! This is my first time linking up to MOndays!!!!
Yeah, by the time the second kid rolls around, you get over the germaphobia thing. The dedication pics are so sweet. And how nice that your friends also dedicated their little boy.
Beautiful giveaway! Necklace, please!!!
Oh man! I hope your get your ac fixed soon! It has been unbearable hot down here lately! I think we would be going to the library or the bookstore all day if the ac wasn't working! The dedication pictures are so cute...your kiddos are adorable:) What a fun giveaway too! I love the earrings!
I have so done that whole shopping cart thing...I did something similar with my photos at Walgreens. I completed every task except for "submit". I drove to pick up my order only to find that my order never processed. Sheesh!
Yay for Sage's dedication, that's always a special time!
Happy Monday!
AWWE!! I loved dedicating our little ones. Its a beautiful act! The pics are beautiful and you look FABULOUS!
Thanks for sharing! OH! I don't wear earrings so I would go with a necklace.
Have a fabulous week!

Congratulations on Sage's dedication! What a glorious day for your family.
I'm laughing at your pics of holding her -- those are the classic "I'm the mom of more than one child" hold. Well done. And you looked beautiful to top it off!
At least you remembered your pictures were in the shopping cart. Bravo.
As far as the give-away? Hands down for the NECKLACE. There. Count that as an entry.
I've got an email coming back....
And, I will be doing my Miscellany Monday. Soon. I got up L.A.T.E. today.
Love ya!
Rachel
Super congrats for Sage's dedication! Such a wonder time. Btw, have I mentioned before that I love her name? It's so unique and yet feminine and just plain fun!
Oooo....awesome jewelery! But doesn't every girl love *BLING*? I would love to win the necklace.
Oh, and.... I got my Miscellany Monday post up! Booyah! It's been way too long since I last did one:/
Love!
Brianna
p.s. cute dress in the dedication photos. Beautiful detail on the neckline:)
HA! This post made me laugh. I know what you mean about the germ bubble. We don't have bubbles at our house anymore, except the soap kind. And those pics of you holding Sage are PRECIOUS--she is one beauty, just like her momma! :-)
And fans are great. Lifesavers. But over here, the temp. is getting cooler. !!! Yup. Today's about 60 degrees. Ba da ba ba BAH, I'm loving it. (it's a lot harder to type the Mcdonalds theme...thingy)
Love this post! Love ya! <3
Hannah
Oh, and Carissa, I am SORRY about your ac. Yuck. Keep those fans rolling. We think ours iced up.
Today, here in Minnesota, it's a wonderful 65 degrees. I'll be praying that cool weather heads your way.
(thanks for linking to me)
Rachel
Apparently, Hannah and I have different ideas about temps here. Shall we come to an agreement that it's about 62.5 degrees? :)
You're just building up her immune system.
Hey pretty girl your 1st miscellany made me laugh right out loud because my bestie who has 3 little ones, 5,3 and 2 she told me this one day "Your first one when you drop there pacifer you boil it, sanitize it, and then give it back to them, the second child when they drop there pacifer you wipe it off with a baby wipe, the third child you put the pacifier in your mouth and wipe the germs away hahahahhahaha
Sage looks beyond presh in her dress, and can I say you look AMAZING!! Congrats to Sage for being dedicated that is just wonderful!!
I feel ya on the air conditioning breaking our's did that last year and um I was cranky pants....
Oh and I have totally put something in my cart and not purchased it thinking I did....I call it "Summer Brain" LOL
love you
Summer
Finally. Linked up. :)
(can you believe how many comments I've added today? Crazy.)
Congratulations on having Sage dedicated! That's such a special moment.
I'm so sorry about your AC. Our's is not broken, but it doesn't cool the 3rd floor as well as it does the basement, so... I would not be alive if it were not for fans. No joke--they're a lifesaver. So is an ever-present ice-cold water. :)
LOVE the necklaces! Unfortunately, I can't enter for one--I'm not allowed to give out my address. :( I'll probably post about the giveaway anyway, though!
Love,
Elizabeth Rose
I LOVE the earrings. Stephanie is awesome!
I'm linking up for the first time today! :) Love your blog, I'm a new follower!
Adorable family shots! Love your dress and arranged marriages are the best ;)
We had our air conditioner break this summer too. definitely no fun!
Love Stephanie's jewelry!umm i would say the necklace but both are amazing.
Stephanie's work is beautiful! I love the necklace, so enter me, please! :) Yes, fans definitely come in handy when it's super duper ultra hot - i spent the weekend at a relative's home who did not have air conditioning, and it was awful - except for when I snooped around and finally found a fan for the room i slept in! ha!
im going to check out her site now! i love the earrings...so thats what i would choose:)
the fam pictures are so cute! cant wait to see you again soon!
Loved this post, Carissa! Oh, and yes... I would LOVE to be entered in the giveaway! That necklace is just stunning. :)
I don't even live where it's hot and humid. But because I have an internal temp that is always hot I can never have too many fans in my house!
So sorry about your announcements. You are too funny though!
Ahh, congratulations on the dedication. What a special day!
YES! Please ENTER ME to WIN the fabulous NECKLACE!
Thank you for hosting again this week. Such beautiful family pictures. Amazing how children change EVERYTHING -- often it takes a bit of adjustment (huh?). I love the necklace. What talent!
Our air conditioner broke for the second time in just over a month! Fixed now but the first time was around july 6th when we had that awful heatwave up here! Ugh!
I can't live without my fans and I DO have AC. I hope yours gets fixed very soon. Baby dedications are the best and that's sweet that your BFFs dedicated their son at the same time...can't wait for the wedding :) I've done that where I left something in the cart and didn't actually buy it...sigh.
So hard to pick... they're both lovely... but I think I'd choose the necklace.
You all look great in the pictures!
I love that necklace you gave your mom! Would love that in orange!! I like the giveaway necklace too!
i hope your AC gets fixed soon! I can't imagine living in that heat. maybe you could go to an air conditioned mall for a bit so you'll get some relief from the heat.
i'd love to win the necklace! it is gorgeous!
I'm so glad I found this blog hop! It's the first time I've participated and I found so many wonderful blogs! Made my day, thanks for hosting!

I <3 the earrings and would like to be entered to win them.
Love,
Cassie
I made Christmas cards last year and never mailed them. Because I rock.
Happy Miscellany Monday to you!
Omgoodness, I'm still laughing about the shopping cart mishap! I still haven't ever really done a true baby book for my second...at least, not like my firstborn...aw, the bliss of actually lIvInG life instead of simply recording it, right?
Cute, cute pix...love the baby dedication pix...esp with your friends right there beside you, absolutely love that!
Great jewelry, I'll have to check that website out, thanks for sharing!
Have a great week!!!!!!!
I would love to enter your giveaway, Carissa! :) I would want the earrings if I won. I love earrings!! :D
Love in Christ,
Eldarwen
Sage is getting so big! :)
I love the necklace!
This is a tough call! They're both beautiful! I'm going to go with the necklace. I need something to make my outfits more interesting! haha
Sage looks so long! The pictures from dedication are just beautiful - awkward holding or not.
What a special dedication... I love those wonderful moments!!
I think the necklace is beautiful!
Jessica
I'd love the earrings! :)
Hey, I linked up to your Monday Miscellany!
And I can understand your shopping cart stumble...Last year I called snapfish to find out what was taking my Christmas cards so long to arrive. They 2nd Day Aired me a new batch. The day those arrived, we discovered the original ones wedged between our screen door and our front door (which we rarely use but never thought to check for the missing package.) Oops. I now have 50 extra Christmas cards with our picture on them from last year. :)
And I completely forgot to say, I like the necklace best! Brain cells still disappearing...
I, too am a fan of fans. I had to put one in our bedroom because the noise helps block out hubby's snoring! haha. What a sweet dedication. And I think the pictures are great - you look way more happy than awkward! ;)
Congrats on Sage's dedication! That is such a special time.
And I LOVE the necklace.
I just love all the family pics from Sage's dedication!
omg yes, fans are such a life saver when your A/C breaks!! a few weeks ago i stayed at my friend's place in philly and it was 100 degrees, she lived on the 4th floor of an apt building and her fan was broken for the exact weekend we were staying with her! LUCKILY we had a fan blowing on us while we slept, or else we'd be drenched in sweat when we woke up, ick!!
on a more beautiful note, what a great giveaway! i would LOVE to in that gorgeous necklace! :)
sandyalamode(at)gmail(dot)com
I love the necklace, so thats what I would choose!! :) The pictures are so cute! Congrats on the baby dedication!! :)
To dedicate our little ones, showing one another our love for and trust in our Heavenly Father...pure sweetness, the Faith of a Family. That is priceless!
Blessings to you and yours. I'm pleased to have found this monday meme that you have...I so enjoy writing at random :)
Thank you for hosting.
Oh, and...I like the necklace ;)
Count me in as well! The necklace is adorable!
I will definatley stop by and spend some time reading and shopping!
btw, you look great!! Post partum who? :)
I love love love that necklace! Count me in for sure!
Love the pics of your beautiful family!
I gave up on the germ bubble idea after I caught my oldest (as a wee babe) eating compost in the garden ... I'm sure she has the immune system of a plague survivor by now!!
The pictures are great from Sage's dedication! I didn't do a misc monday this week, the hubs had the day off and I forgot, sniff sniff! :)
That jewelry is fab. I think I would choose the earrings!
I'd love to enter this giveaway!
The necklace is my favorite. =)
Blessings!
-Taylor-
love seeing pictures of Sage's dedication. Wish I could have been there. And... the earrings... for sure I'd love the earrings! - Cindy
I love the pics of Sage's dedication ; )
so sweet! I would love the necklace!
The jewelry is fabulous - I would absolutely love to win the necklace!
Love the jewelry! The necklace is fab =) and I love all your pics. Our AC went out at the beginning of the summer and I thought I was going to suffocate. Southern summers are brutal! =)
Oh my Carissa, I am so so sorry about your AC. Ours went out at the beginning of summer...absolutely no fun. Fans were our favorite too. My hubby perfected the art of the exact time to have the fans blowing out to blow out hot air and then when to turn them around at night to blow in the semi-cool air. :) I started getting pretty grumpy after a while though! Hope yours gets fixed soon.
Love those pics of the family at the dedication. Baby dedications are always so precious and such sweet reminders of God's blessings.
i know what you mean about a hot hot house with no ac! i've been a total cranky lady lately because of that. but to deal with humidity too? you deserve to be cranky! i used to live in TN and didn't have ac. it's been so long though i can't remember how i survived it - you know, how you block out really painful memories. :)
i would love the earrings! they are so cute!
aimymichelle[at]gmail[dot]com
