oh my goodness. if you want a few good laughs you must visit... it's all about parents texting their kids. here are a few favorites:
2. bieber fever.
our three year old niece, camryn, is a hoot. she announced the other day that she has a crush on justin bieber beaver (in her words). we were laughing about it over dinner and she proclaimed; "justin beaver is not funny. he's beautiful." she's three!
3. a gift for parents.
noisemakers are heaven sent, if i do say so myself. we just bought one for sage. one of the white noise varieties is a honking horn. are you kidding me?! since when is a horn white noise? needless to say, we'll probably be returning this one. even so, the womb sound helped her to truly sleep like a baby last night. i told you it was heaven sent.
4. thanks grandma!
my grandparents from CA were just in town and left sage a precious set of knitted goods. my grandma's hands have been busy! sage loves to be adorned in the blanket, hat, scarf and jacket. if you don't look closely, you might mistake her for a big ball of pink yarn. : )
5. the best for last!

So, in reflecting on the post I wrote last week, I have selected perception as my Word of the Year for 2011.
Things are going to happen this year.
If I only see the bad in those things, then it is all bad. If I seek to find what is good in it, then there is good.
I can choose my focus.
I can choose the perception I will have in 2011.

My DD and DIL were just telling me yesterday and that the toys I have for the Grans just have too many noise makers on them. Since I don't have to listen to them day in and day out, I can stand it, but they neither one can listen to it very long. It does wear thin after a while for sure.

I laughed SO hard over the parents text part! I just went from a blackberry to a droid and I must tell you I am in way over my head! I just told my oldest son tonight it's going back! and lots of typo's- becuse I kept messing up and got tired of correcting it.
