miscellany monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

one. i'm hopping aboard the three.six.five train because i believe there's no better way to celebrate a new camera (all my ebay selling paid off to pay for my camera and i mostly came away un-scammed) than to take pictures every single day for an entire year's time.

i have dreamt of taking a blurry, backgrounded, halo headed picture for so long.  now it's within reach.  the picture taking possibilities feel endless.  to learning i go.

two. this is what bloomers are for.

three.  i think he likes me.  a lot.  a lot.  i give Kelly the camera and this is what i get ~

four.  this settles it.  with her incessant dishwasher kissing i'm convinced we've got an eventual domestic diva in our midst.

five.  best weekend ever = reuniting with my cousin after seven years.  Rachael's dad was my dad's brother and since my dad died, i don't get to see that side of the family often. not to mention we are all spread across the miles from california to colorado to the carolinas.  i cherished the reminiscing; i felt a sense of gushing nostalgia the whole time.

six. this morning i woke up with a well of joy deep down inside over getting to be a mommy. there's no other way i'd want to spend my days than with my babies. AND i get to be married to the man of my dreams.  AND - the best for last - i serve a gracious God who washes me clean with the blood of the risen Lamb.  this brings me unspeakable joy.

One - You gotta love a little bokeh. :)

So glad you could enjoy sweet time with your cousin - I've been blessed with over 50 first cousins between my mom's side and dad's side (BIG families are not unusual around here) - and those family relationships are something to really treasure. Have a great Monday, Carissa!!

I can't figure out if she will like housework or creating the need for cleaning.

Agh - I'm terribly sorry - I must have clicked Submit Link twice.... It's a Monday morning and it's supposed to be ANOTHER day in the 100s - do either one of those excuses work??! :)

Love these pictures, as always! Cousins are such a blessing - I am so thankful to have grown up with so many. I wish my boys had a ton of cousins running around like we did. :)

Gorgeous photos! It is always good to see family you haven't seen in a while, my cousins are all spread out as well. Some of them came here last summer and it was just so fun to catch up a little!
Hope you have a great Monday!

Yay for new cameras!

Also, how about a "How to Sell on E-bay" tutorial? I got online yesterday with intent to post some stuff on e-bay, but I got overwhelmed and posted stuff on Craigslist instead.

Yay for a new camera!! Your pictures are always beautiful...can't wait to see even more! Don't you just love those mornings when you wake up with those feelings? I spent overnight with Noelle hacking up her lungs so I didn't quite have one of those this morning, lol! Hope your weekend ahead is a blessed one :)

YAY for new cameras! You must teach me the art of ebay selling. I have no clue where to begin or nuttin'.

Love the joy you felt! You made me start singing the song w/the words 'washed by the blood of the lamb' in it. Of course that's the only part that's coming to mind, but I'm singing it over and over. :)

Blurry bokeh-ey backgrounds; a beautiful thing. Loved your ending sentiments. Even in the tiredness of life, I agree. Blessed with a big ol' capital B.
