picking up where i last left off and continuing on in my three.six.five. project. mine's a bit disorganized and somedays, i'm a bit uninspired, but nonetheless, i'm not a quitter. have a gander at all our grandeur.
21. birthday flowers from my husband. once-upon-a-time i told kelly when we were dating to never spend money on flowers. but then he bought me these and now my mind is changed. i'm ruined forever. so's he.
22. late afternoon thunder punching storms are a regular around here.
23. celebrating grandma's birthday with a precious hug. Sage looks more like her than she does me.

26. because it's more fun to really eat fake food than just pretend.
27. sending out snail mail. it's still exists.

So, so, so blessed!! Two of the most precious kiddos ever!! I can't get over how much Sage looks like your mom. Love the picture of Hunter in the suitcase - too stinkin' cute! Happy Monday :) Hope y'all have a blessed week!
always love all your wonderful photograph and thoughts! thanks for hosting!
LOVE your $4 cowboy boots!!
The pictures are great like always! You are going to have so much fun looking back over the year in pictures when it is all said and done.
Well, where to start? Because, you know, I'll be writing a book. :)
I love the one of Hunter sitting at the table -- the cars and trucks next to him at that very curious and determined face. And your table? love.
Going along with it, the one of him on the floor looking a the caterpillar made me laugh -- it so reminded me of my Elijah. He's be down there with him searching.
And speaking of laughing - the pic of your kids in the stroller and the one of Sage outside in the intense heat made me laugh as well. They have "don't take my picture" written all over their faces.
Bookshelf picture? priceless.
And, my friend, I noticed the Ball Canning jar in picture one. Our great minds think alike. :)
I hope that you have a wonderful Monday, sweet friend. Thanks for all the kind messages and words this weekend. I am very grateful.
Rachel
now you need to visit me here as the nights are getting cool -- no crazy 102 degrees. :)
Your shots are incredible! Not to mention your truly adorable kiddos!
Linking up but it doesn't seem to be working.

These pictures are great! So fun! :)
Once again, your pictures are great! I love those flowers...gerbera daisies are my favorite!!! The picture of your guys is precious...your son's look is priceless! And the pic of the kids with your hubby is great, too. Happy Monday!
You have the cutest kids! Thanks for sharing them with us. ;) I love the one of Sage attacking the bookshelves...a girl after my own heart! Blessings!
so good! i know flowers will ruin you. honey got me a spa gift certificate for valentine's day last year. THAT really ruined me. great pics girlie.
Oh your photographs are breathtaking!
I'm new to your blog. I found you through a mutual blog friend, so I'm joining in your Monday hop, and have just become a new follower. So nice to meet you!
I enjoyed your Monday collection of photos! Children make the best subject matter :) Yours are precious.
The love the perspective in which you snap a photo! Enjoy your blog!
LOVE the photos! They are just adorable! :)
Those young 'uns are simply adorable! And yes, she does look an awful lot like her grandma. But that is certainly not a bad thing. :)
You have a beautiful family, Carissa. Blessed indeed! :)
I was going to try to pick a favorite picture, but that's impossible. They are all so good. I hope to one day take pictures this well.
I have so much to say!
Those flowers are simply beautiful. I'd be ruined too...they just brighten any room.
Sweet Sage...loving on her grandma and catching some sun rays. She's just too cute. Give her a squeeze for me.
$4 boots!!!! Seriously!?! They fit you perfectly.
I absolutely love mail...LOVE!
I also love the picture of the kids on the piano...never too early. And Hunter's love for learning is wonderful (his giant head...lol)
Looks like you're in great company :)
Flowers in a mason jar, snail mail, family photos, fabulous thrift store finds, this post has it all :)
Happy Monday!
I love the one of them playing piano -- so sweet! The pictures are lovely; what a wonderful past few weeks in photos. :)
ps. cowboy boots...soooooo cute. and for $4 bucks? even better!
Love the "waindrops" picture!
Oh, these are so good!!! The piano one is perfection!
I love your boots (just like everyone else!!) I have the perfect dress to go with them, if you wanted to let me borrow them ;)
I always told my hub never to buy me flowers at peak times (like when they're $60 for valentine's day-ridiculous!) so very occasionally I get them just because and those are the best kind :)
OH my these photographs are so simple yet so breathtaking.. the small moments that make us happy :)
These are awesome!I may have to use you in the future!
#29 is precious! I miss rain so much. You inspire me... Maybe I'll take on the 365 project soon. :)
i love your photos! those flowers are beautiful. and i love snail mail... such a tiny blessing that opens a full ray of sunshine into your day. & i love your description of hunter and sage in the stroller - too funny!
JDaniel's head wouldn't have fit in the suitcase either. I love that he loves learning.
Loved every single one of these!
Loving your $4 boots. Mentally high fiving you on that.
I've been sending out snail mail as well. Its so nice knowing someone's going to get something other than a bill in the mail, ya know?!

Wow, your momma and Sage do look alike! So cool! Love the irony of the strong willed child pulling the strong willed child book off the bookshelf, classic! I enjoyed this post. Made me smile :)
aw, i loved looking through these AMAZING photos & seeing a little glimpse into your daily life. :)
i love that Hunter calls his head "giant". when i was pregnant with my son his head measured to the largest they consider "normal" so i got to have extra ultrasounds. he came out "normal". anyway. we started referring to him as baby bighead as a joke. well when he was about 6 he says to me, in a voice almost like his friends didn't believe him "mom, i have a big head huh?" like he was all proud...so funny. so long story long.. thanks Hunt for bringing up memories!
snail mail = THE BEST. i must do it more... thanks for sharing darling!!
La la la agreed. Naartjie = serious CUTENESS!
so glad i found your blog, and thankful i could be a part of it!
I still love the cowboy boots :) Where do you get that bread? I would love to try it! Your children are so beautiful and expressive, I love seeing photos of them anytime ;) Have a great week Carissa!
Love the picture of your little girl by the window and of them at the piano. How sweet!
Sage does look a lot like your mama - so sweet. Glad you have your hubby back - isn't everything a zillion times better when you have your hubby to lean on?!
I absolutely love the picture of them at the piano! Taking after Daddy's musical abilities??? Blessing!
your photos are amazing carissa!! you and your family are soo blessed!!! ok going to check out naartjie now!!
*Love* all of this post and every photo! Especially like "starting them early" on the piano (I am rather biased, though, being a pianist myself! haha) and LOVED the ironic photo of your baby girl tearing the bookshelves apart and The Strong Willed Child being right in front center! hahaha Gotta love it! Precious family!
