miscellany monday: here's looking at you

write your randoms and link up below.

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

take a look through my lens into the heart of my 365 project, here's looking at you, documenting the sometimes fanciful, once-in-a-while erratic, various collection of days that we are happy to call our blessed life.

1. remember this one?  my blurry backgrounded, halo headed baby girl.

2.  discovering what he can create...  it's a daily affair that usually requires a good soap scrubbing - whether it's his hands or the couch, carpet, walls, etc.  the life of a little boy can be summed up as unhindered joy or destruction, depending upon whose perspective you speak of.  ; )

3. she's a particular sweetie pie not interested in sitting in the scratchy grass in her pretty dress.

4.  i'm finally a real mom; putting ease in the forefront every now and then.  i bought my kids their first box of breakfast-in-a-hurry-throw-nutrition-out-the-window pop-tarts.

5. because nothing says fresh like cottony clean towels.

6. learning to use a puddle jumper is serious summertime business.

7. one of my beloved recent days.  meeting beautiful rachel of finding joy.

8. my time in california begins with a captured moment of sage with my sweet momma.

9. because sometimes i like old timey buildings and signs.

10. it's usually best to be in the moment and sweep up my sugar sack rather than just capturing memories.  she thinks so too.

11. kindness pouring in... a floodgate of cards and "i'm sorry's" swooshed in to give my grandma lots of paper-like hugs in the midst of her grief.

12. a pleasant reminder of fall coming.

13. because flowers are always striking.

14. cousins were meant for playing.

15. tummy's are meant for tickling.

16.  good food is meant for eating.  especially when apricot chicken curry wrap is it's name.

17. vintage meets keepsake.  (there's a story to share soon!)

18.  my last morning in the golden state.

19. my first morning home.  seeing this boy after 11 days without him was almost the best thing ever... second to seeing his daddy.

20. every shopper's delight.  bringing home groceries from traders.

can't wait for the rest... i'm enjoying capturing a picture to remember a day.

I love these 365 projects. I've watched Hannah -- live intentional and be intentional -- as she searches for her shots. And so often, the pics that she gets captures our day perfectly.

Yours are the same. Beautiful snippets of your day and life.

I love, of course the Trader Joe's bag. I'm so glad that your sweet town decided they needed to get one of those. You will be blessed by it!

And that picture of Hunter on your first morning home brings tears to my momma's eyes. I remember how it was that first morning back from South Carolina -- I just sat in the chair and looked at those sweet little ones of mine.

And you know, you are too sweet about me.I can't believe that was already a bit over two weeks ago.

That apricot chicken curry wrap? Looks amazing.

Okay. I need to stop. I've just realized that if I try to comment on everyone of your fabulous pictures than my comment will be become as long as your post. Ha ha HA ha ha.

You have the most blessed and joyful day today. Hug those sweet kids.

Love ya.

Rach

Gorgeous photos!! I have really wanted to do a 365 project but keep saying I'll do it later. I think they are so fun to look at, I'll get there... someday! You are soo lucky to have a TJ I wish we had one. The closest one is a little over an hour away. During the winter we make the trip there more often than the summer. Enjoy yours!

Blessings
Liz

This posts stirred up all kinds of emotions for me. The joy of your photos of your children and the tenderness of the pile of notes from your friends are just a few.

I heart your pictures. Seriously. Every single one of them. You are nothing short of amazing!

I'm jealous of your Trader Joes! I don't think we'll ever get one in FL. I heard something about FL being too far from their distribution center(s) to warrant the cost of shipping. Blah!

I hope you have a fabulous week ahead, sweet friend!

Great photos! I love the one where your daughter is in the scratchy grass and the one where she is showing her belly. They remind me of my own daughter. I also have to say I'm pretty jealous you live by a Trader Joes.

Beautiful pictures! I love that vintage Pentax. My Grandpa recently gave me his old Minolta film camera. One of the only real "earthly" possessions he cherished. Sooo special to me!

Wow! What a link up list! You know I've come to look forward to this every week {thank you}. Your babies are simply stunningly beautiful (but I'm guessing you know that already ;) ) Looking forward to hearing about that camera...(and glad you're home too). Happy Week!

What sweet and tender moments that you have capture. My favorite is the cards because I simply adore mail. I have had to break down and do pop tarts as well, usually on the way to church.

I can tell you have a Canon but what kind is it exactly?? I LOVE your pictures!!! :)

So pretty! 365 of your pics, wahoo!!! As for pop tart processed nasty, I think that makes you a stereotypical Mom. Wouldn't a healthy granola bar work just as quickly??? ;)
