the good and bad part about living in the south is that autumn doesn't fall around here until mid to late october. which is pleasant news for summer but bummer news for enjoying sweatless sunshine. even so, we make the best of the hot weather days by trudging to the pool or the beach a little while longer. it's such a shame, isn't it?!
and we eat ice cream without feeling guilty for a few more weeks claiming that we have to, just to cool off. it's easier to eat ice cream with the excuse of being hot or at least that's the line my health conscience gives. you know what else makes it easier to eat ice cream? mini cones that have only 70 calories but taste like there straight from the creamery made with whole fat milk topped with delectable, melt-in-your-mouth, crisp chocolate.
they like them only half as much as i do. ; )

my mouth is watering! ice cream is my weakness... and i like the way you think. here in louisiana, we also have an extended summer, so bring on the cones!
Oh my...those look delicious! I'm rebelling against summer though, so ice cream's a no-no for me. Ha! :) Actually, I'm headed to Starbucks to see if I can smuggle a premature pumpkin spice latte out. There are certain benefits to being a Starbucks regular - you make friends. lol.
Just realized that those cones are Trader Joe's brand...I want a Trader Joe's so bad! There isn't one in Wichita, and I've actually never been to one, but I've read so many amazing things about it. Lucky! :)

Oh, hurray! Since this is our first summer down South I hadn't heard that we don't have to feel guilty about extra ice cream!!! :) Next week (at least here in Dallas) the temperatures are supposed to plummet into the 90s - I am SO ready for triple digits to be over....
Ice cream...when is it NOT a good time to eat ice cream. Especially with cones that have chocolate on them...gosh, I'm hungry.
Oh and have been craving ice cream for days and days! *sniff* I haven't had any yet.
