i saved my favorite for last ~
this family has captured my heart. kevin, julie and their kiddos, have been through a lot, but their faith has been rock solid and an inspiration to all who know them. i'm thinking they must get tired of hearing that but when something is oh so true and apparent it's hard not to say so. my honey grew up with julie and it's a joy to know them. you can read their story here.
it was a treat to get to hang out with the Giordanos to capture their pretty selves in photo form. i love the color palette they wore - blues with pops of red. these were the first photos i've ever taken outside of family. i felt entirely nervous and inadequate with my basic equipment and skill level but when you're working with such good lookin' folk, it makes your job way easier. it's so sweet to think that they believed in me. thanks Giordanos!!!

Carissa, girl you and I are on the same track or something...these look great!! You did an amazing job. They are a beautiful family.I also just took some pictures for friends on Sunday and was so nervous. Outside of my family they were the first adults I had photographed and I have so much to learn but I love it.;)
