miscellany monday

write random, grab the button, and link up below.

1.  i had a dream that i was a wedding photographer with fancy cameras and equipment, i woke up, never wanting the dream to end.  in the meantime, i went to a wedding, that my husband played music for, and took pictures as unobtrusively as possible.  oh, and it's extra special since this is the very same chapel we were married in over seven years ago.

2. i caught Sage cleaning her ears out with two pieces of chalk.  chalk, q-tips, same difference?

3. if someone tells me something is a miracle drug or at least really good for me, i'll believe them, it's true. so when pinterest tells me there's a detox smoothie, i'm first in line to give it a try. the ingredients: 1 sliced frozen banana, 1 sliced and peeled pear, 1 cup of spinach, 1 cup of kale, 1 1/2 cups orange juice. put it in a blender and get a green detox drink.  i had low expectations; i thought it would taste something like death.  thankfully, i was pleasantly surprised.  but, by the end of it, i was gagging and trying not to heave. so that's why they call it a detox drink. ; ) try it, if you dare.

4. pizookie. find the recipe here.  they are all they're cracked up to be. this was the perfect thing to eat after my detox. : )

5. three words: lightroom 3 trial

6. princess dreams.

I love the pics of the chapel. What a beautiful place to get married.

And the pictures of your daughter reading are great. I don't know which I like more...the book in focus or out of focus...I can never decide things like that!

Lovely church stained glass windows. Good pictures!

We do all need to eat more greens and fiber and good natural "living things". But I'm not sure I could drink it down without gagging either. But I may give it a try...just to see! Ha!

Have a lovely week!

We have been doing green smoothies around here. But without kale. I'm a little scared to do more than one leafy green at a time. LB loves them especially when I add blueberries but what doesn't taste better with that magical little fruit? And that chocolate chip explosion thing looks divine!

I love that you ate the cookie dish after the detox! My kind of girl!

pretty! I loved that stained glass! I loved that smoothie!! I tried it maybe a month or so ago..maybe longer not sure...and I was actually surprised I like it...it does kind of look like goo afterall!!!! Gave me tons of energy too...I still drink the fruit version with the ginger about 3 times a week or so! Did you try that one too? I know it isnt for everyone though...Jason hated it hahahah! Hope you have a great day!!! Cant wait to see you 3!!!

I believe that the cookie and ice cream totally balance out your kale (what in the heck?!?) drink. I actually put spinach in one of mine with enough fruit that you wouldn't even notice the spinach. And it was kinda yummy :-)
Your girly is just to adorable!
Have a gorgeous Monday!

PS: Every time I come to your page I want to say this, so I'm not sure if I already have, but...
My bff's name is also Carisa (only with one s) and her last name is SO close to yours! Kinda funny :)
Ok. Feeling much better now ;-)

Lightroom 3 trial, here I come. You just convinced me that it's probably gonna be the best decision I ever make.
