ONE. these cookies have been pinned 26,000 times. i saw them and immediately made a batch for my family. and surprisingly, my dough turned out looking almost exactly like the original picture: (if you don't know me, that is a huge feat)

the best part about these babies is that they are naturally egg free. so no substitutes needed! they really are as divine as a dreamy island getaway. and, and, and, they don't take many ingredients! find the recipe here.

TWO. major things happened around here this weekend. i bought a new swimsuit. what's the big deal? it's the first bathing suit i have bought in SIX (6) years. i guess i could take solace in the fact that, hey, at least the same one fit for so long. but still. we live near the beach. i wear it all.the.time. for the sake of the sun and no pilly-ness, i now have a fancy new xhiliration by target (of course) suit. 

THREE. dreams are coming true... when i tell my baby girl to smile for me, she ACTUALLY does. admittedly, this means i get to play dress up with Sage and take gobs of pictures.

FOUR. it's a toss up though, because now, any time big brother sees the camera i get a face like this. you win some, you lose some.

FIVE. a very long time ago, back before i had bills and major responsibilities i had a crazy purse obsession (and i'm not talking fancy brands, i'm talking target (duh!) and tjmaxx. four years ago, i determined to rid myself of my hoarding. and i'm happy to announce that i still use the same purse every day (minus the pretty bag my friend got me from Vietnam and an outdoorsy cross body my honey surprised me with after he found it for $15). shhhh! if you think my main bag is ugly don't say it out loud. i'm pretty sure it's looking mighty vintage these days. (FPFG: between the bathing suit and this purse, i think STATE better watch it's back.)

SIX. speaking of bags. look at these vibrant, charming clutches. i won one, a few years back, and have partnered with Charm Design once again, to introduce you to their beautiful creations. the quality is superb and the patterns and prints are oh so lovely.
